Terms & Conditions
These terms set the ground rules for using Spendly and explain the responsibilities that come with your account.
Effective 15 September 2026
01
Using Spendly
These terms govern your use of Spendly. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Spendly. You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live and must provide accurate account information.
02
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not share access in a way that compromises the service or another person’s information.
03
Your content
You retain ownership of the information you enter. You give us permission to host, process, copy and display it only as needed to operate, secure and improve Spendly and provide the features you request. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide that information.
04
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Spendly, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, upload malicious code, scrape or reverse engineer protected parts of the service, use it for unlawful activity, or infringe the rights of others.
05
Budgeting and AI information
Spendly provides planning tools, calculations and AI-generated information for general informational purposes. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Results depend on the information you enter and may contain errors. You remain responsible for financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional when needed.
06
Service availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue features, introduce limits, or perform maintenance. We aim to keep Spendly reliable but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available service. Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose.
07
Ownership
Spendly and its software, design, branding and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Spendly to you.
08
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Spendly at any time. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users, comply with law, or address a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Provisions intended to survive termination will continue.
09
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Spendly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated here. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for losses caused by reliance on budgeting or AI outputs. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Spendly evolves. We will post the revised terms here and update the effective date. Continuing to use Spendly after an update means you accept the revised terms. If a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
